Why have Empira contacted me?
We act on behalf of various organisations in both the collection of Civil and High Court Enforcement orders.
What do I do if I think I don’t owe the debt?
Please note that we will continue enforcement until such time the court withdraws the Warrant or payment in full is made.
You need to seek your own legal advice or contact us on 01925 984020 for further information on the outstanding amount.
I have received correspondence from Empira for someone who doesn’t live at my address. What should I do?
Please contact us immediately so we can update our records and advise our client. If you know the person the letter is addressed to, or have a forwarding address or contact telephone number, please let us know. You can email enquiries@empira.co.uk
What if an Enforcement Agent has left hand written correspondence?
Call them right away on the mobile number on the letter.
An Enforcement Agent’s role is to collect the full amount or to remove goods for sale at auction. They may be able to allow you some time to raise the funds. You are best arranging a convenient time for the Agent to revisit you to discuss your options.
The Enforcement agent has stated removal of goods will take place. Can I avoid this?
Removing goods is the last resort, but if your debt has reached Removal / Sale Stage it is because you have either not contacted us to arrange repayments or because you have defaulted on agreed payments.
The Enforcement Agent in charge will always assess your circumstances to ensure there are no other suitable options before proceeding with a removal. Please speak to the Agent as a matter of urgency.
How can I pay?
By cash to the Enforcement Agent
By debit card on our Payment Portal or our 24/7 Payment Line (01925 984108)
Speak to one of our friendly advisors on 01925 984020
By post. Send to; Empira Limited, Unit B, 210 Cygnet Court, Centre Park, Warrington, WA1 1PP
All payments must be made to Empira Ltd and must include all fees and charges. Please make sure you include your case reference number, your name and address with all payments.
What happens if I pay my debt directly to the creditor?
We will award a credit. However, please note that you will still need to pay any fees due to us up to that point, and an enforcement agent may visit to collect any outstanding balance.
Are you a vulnerable debtor?
All our staff are welfare trained and can help you with your debt, but our staff cannot offer medical or financial advice but can signpost you in the right direction
